This HDMI switch 3×1 allows you to connect 3 HDMI sources to one HDMI input. With this you close e.g. B. Playstation, PC and set-top box to an Ultra HD TV. Alternatively, you can connect the devices to a soundbar in the same way. Please note that a soundbar has a real HDMI input. A single socket labeled "HDMI ARC" is an HDMI output for the TV. The HDMI switch 3×1 supports all current video formats up to Ultra HD resolution with HDR or Dolby Vision as well as 3D. All audio formats are also supported.
A green LED indicates which of the 3 inputs is active. The 3 HDMI inputs are located on the back of the robust metal housing.
auto switching
Switching between the inputs takes place automatically (auto-switching) or manually using the remote control or the control button on the device. If you switch on a connected HDMI source, it is automatically switched to this input. If you switch off the HDMI source, it switches to the previously used HDMI input. Some devices do not switch off their HDMI output in standby, so that the switch is always signaled that the device is switched on. Then the auto-switching does not work as intended. To get around this, you can turn off the auto-switching feature. To do this, press the SWITCH button for 5 seconds until the LEDs flash. Switching is then only possible by pressing a button. To turn on auto-switching, press SWITCH again for 5 seconds.
