HDMI Audio Extractor
The AX310 HDMI Audio Extractor routes the audio signal from an HDMI source device directly to your sound system via the HDMI ARC or eARC port. Meanwhile, the video signal for your display is passed through losslessly, so you can enjoy both high-quality images and impressive sound. The extractor is ideal for use with modern soundbars and allows the audio format to be extracted regardless of the formats supported by the display. In addition, audio delay (latency) is avoided and audio formats such as DTS that may be blocked by the TV can be played. This way you can ensure that your home entertainment system always offers the best sound experience.
Supports resolutions up to 8K 60Hz and 4K 120Hz
The AX310 supports impressive resolutions of up to 8K at 60Hz HDR and 4K at 120Hz, with a maximum data rate of 48 Gbps. Thanks to backward compatibility to lower resolutions, the AX310 guarantees lossless video and audio transmission, regardless of the source used. In addition, it offers HDMI 2.1 gaming features such as Variable Refresh Rate (VRR), which reduce image stuttering and enable smooth gameplay. Auto Low Latency Mode (ALLM) ensures that latency is automatically minimized, further improving response time in games. This means you can enjoy the best picture and sound quality both when gaming and streaming.
ARC support
Thanks to ARC (Audio Return Channel) support, the AX310 enables seamless audio transmission from the TV to the connected soundbar. Simply connect the AX310 to the HDMI-ARC or HDMI-eARC port on your display and activate the eARC function. The AX310 automatically detects whether the sound is coming from the connected source or the TV, ensuring effortless switching. This feature enhances your home theater experience by creating an easy connection between your TV and the soundbar while ensuring high-quality audio output. Whether you're streaming movies or playing games, you'll always get the best sound. It's also possible to connect a monitor or video projector without ARC functionality and leave eARC disabled, giving you flexibility in your choice of devices.
Flexible EDID management: Customize audio and video formats
The AX310 features flexible EDID management that allows you to individually set the maximum supported audio and video formats. The integrated dip switch allows you to choose between different EDID modes to ensure that your audio and video output is optimally tailored to your connected devices. This improves compatibility with different displays and soundbars and prevents possible conflicts in signal output. With this feature, you can ensure that both the picture and sound quality remain at the highest level, regardless of the source or connected device.

Volume control via the TV remote control with HDMI-CEC
With a TV that has an HDMI ARC or eARC connection, you can control the volume of your audio signal directly from the TV remote control. This feature makes operation easier as you do not need a separate remote control for your soundbar. In addition, many streaming devices, such as Apple TV or Fire TV, also offer the option of controlling the audio system independently, which gives you additional flexibility in operation.
