This adapter cable allows power to be supplied to devices that are otherwise powered by a 5V (or higher) plug-in power supply. With this cable, the 5V supply can be provided from a device with a USB-C socket, e.g. from the notebook. This saves space and energy. Suitable for powering small devices such as Ethernet switches, HDMI components, TV amplifiers and the like.

The passive cable does not allow for negotiation of USB charging voltages, so usually only 5V is supplied!

Ich bin mit dem Shop und meiner Erfahrung sehr zufrieden. Ich habe nur ein kleines Adapterkabel gekauft, musste aber nach Lieferung feststellen das dieses defekt ist.

Ordentliche Qualität und funktioniert perfekt

Das Kabel hat eine ordentliche Qualität und erfüllt die Funktion wie angegeben. Sowohl an einem USB C Port eines MacBooks als auch an einem USB C PD Ladegerät können mit dem Kabel durch die korrekte Belegung der CC Pins 5V bezogen werden.Am Hohlstecker liegt der positive Pol innen an und Masse außen — perfekt für viele Geräte. Bitte bedenken: Laut Spezifikation sollten maximal 3A bezogen werden.

Prinzipiell ja. Es können so aber nicht mehr als 5 V verwendet werden, weil keine höhere Spannung ausgehandelt werden kann.

Wenn das Kabel passiv ist (keinerlei Regelungsfunktion), dann sollte prinzipiell doch auch Folgendes möglich sein:
Stromversorgung eines Geräts mit type-c-Eingangsbuchse durch eine DC-Quelle mit 5.5mm 2.1mm Ausgangsbuchse. (Natürlich sollten DC-Quelle und type-C Verbraucher verträglich sein hinsichtlich Spannung, Stromstärke, Leistung usw.).

Können Sie das bestätigen ?
(Ich selbst kann es leider nicht ausprobieren.)
Mir geht es nur um die Frage, ob Stromübertragung prinzipiell in beide Richtungen möglich ist.

Nein, das funktioniert mit den meisten Geräten nicht, die via USB-C geladen werden. Denn das zu ladende Geräte muss das Ladegerät steuern können. Dazu ist mehr als eine Leitung plus Masse nötig.
