The AX420 is the first device of its kind to enable audio transmission for two displays via HDMI-ARC/eARC. This innovative solution solves the problem that many sound systems can only be connected to one TV and gives you more flexibility in your home theater setup.

Easy switching between two displays with ARC/eARC

With the AX420 you can easily switch between two TVs or a TV and a projector without having to constantly unplug the cables. This way your soundbar always stays connected and always delivers the best sound. Important: Both displays and the sound system must support ARC or eARC.

This means you can play the sound from apps and internal tuners through the soundbar without having to unplug anything. Sound from devices that are connected directly to the TV can also be played this way - for even more flexibility and the best sound.

Automatic display detection

The AX420 detects which display (TV or projector) is currently active and automatically switches the audio signal. You no longer have to worry about switching manually - the switch does it for you and ensures that you always have the right sound when you turn on the device.

Support for all common audio formats

The AX420 supports all common audio formats. These include high-resolution formats such as Dolby Atmos, DTS, Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD. In order for the AX420 to support all eARC audio formats, both your display and sound system must support HDMI-eARC. If you use a display or sound system with HDMI-ARC, only the audio formats that can also be transmitted via HDMI-ARC are supported. HDMI-CEC volume control

Thanks to the HDMI-CEC function, you can easily control the volume of your soundbar using your TV remote control - without any additional devices or apps. This function not only saves you time but also ensures a simple and convenient user experience.

Automatic switching on and off of the soundbar

If you power the Switch with a USB port or USB power adapter, the Switch will automatically turn on the sound system when either TV is turned on. If connected without USB power, the soundbar must be turned on manually. This ensures a seamless user experience and reduces hassle.

Easy installation

The AX420 is compatible with all common HDMI-ARC and HDMI-eARC devices, including modern soundbars and AV receivers. Installation is quick and easy as no additional software is required. Simply connect the AX420 eARC Switch to your sound system and your two displays, optionally supply it with power and save yourself the hassle of manually replugging your home theater setup.

Please note : No video signals are transmitted through the AX420. If connected to an AV receiver, any players connected to it will not be able to provide an image. External players should be connected directly to the TV.

Power supply

The AX420 can be powered either by the connected sound system via HDMI or with the included USB-C to USB-A cable. A USB power adapter is not included.

We recommend external power supply via a USB power adapter (5 V DC, 500 mA or more), as this supports automatic switching of the sound system on and off and ensures reliable operation.
