VMA00102 HDMI ARC Audio Adapter – For headphones and HiFi systems on the TV

The VMA00102 enables easy use of traditional audio devices such as stereo systems or headphones on modern TVs with HDMI-ARC or eARC connections. The adapter converts the TV's audio signal into analog stereo sound and simultaneously makes it available via RCA and 3.5 mm jacks. The volume can be conveniently controlled via the TV remote control – perfect for anyone who wants to combine high-quality TV sound with existing technology.

Stereo output for HiFi & headphones

The VMA00102 outputs the sound from your TV via two parallel analog outputs:

• Cinch (Stereo L/R) – ideal for amplifiers, stereo systems or speakers
• 3.5 mm jack (stereo) – suitable for headphones or active speakers

Both outputs can be used simultaneously. This allows you to permanently connect your stereo system, for example, and also connect headphones if needed.

Compatible with stereo audio formats

The adapter only supports PCM Stereo (2.0). To ensure proper audio output, set the format to "PCM" or "LPCM Stereo" in your TV's audio menu. Multi-channel formats such as Dolby Digital or Bitstream are not supported.

Easy volume control via TV remote control

The volume of the analog outputs can be controlled directly with your TV's remote control – thanks to HDMI-CEC, without any additional devices. The control works for both the RCA and jack outputs, making the listening experience particularly convenient.

Power supply via USB

The VMA00102 is powered via the included USB cable – e.g., via a USB port on your TV . As soon as the TV is turned on, the adapter automatically activates. When the TV is turned off, the adapter also goes into standby mode. So, you don't have to do anything else – it runs completely automatically in the background. Alternatively, the adapter can also be powered by an external USB power supply.

Quick setup & easy operation

Installation takes just a few minutes:

1. Connect the adapter to the HDMI-ARC output of the TV
2. Connect USB cable to power supply
3. Connect the RCA or jack cable to your audio target device
4. Set the audio format in the TV menu to “ PCM Stereo ” – done!

Important to know

When the adapter is activated, many TVs automatically deactivate their internal speakers and output sound exclusively through the HDMI ARC port. On some TVs, the volume display is no longer numerical, but rather a simple bar display with "+" and "-."
