Using a hearing aid and soundbar simultaneously – here's how it works
Do you want to use a transmitter for your hearing aid while others listen through the soundbar at the same time? The VMA00201 can then be used between the television...
Distribute HDMI signals flexibly over your network, from simple extenders to fully configurable AV-over-IP matrices.
HX530 HDMI over IP Extender Set for 4K 60Hz with AV-over-IP and up to 253 Devices is backordered and will ship as soon as it is back in stock.
The HX530 HDMI over IP Extender enables flexible distribution of HDMI signals over a Gigabit network. The system consists of the HX530TX Transmitter and the HX530RX Receiver and can be flexibly expanded with additional devices. This allows an HDMI signal to be distributed to any number of displays, switched between multiple sources, or a freely configurable HDMI-over-IP matrix with up to 253 devices to be set up. With support for 4K 60Hz, ranges up to 120 meters over CAT6, and convenient app control, the HX530 is ideal for digital signage, conference rooms, training environments, as well as demanding home cinema and professional AV installations.
The HX530 transmits HDMI signals as an IP stream over a Gigabit network, enabling flexible AV distribution over long distances. Resolutions up to 4K 60Hz 4:4:4, including stereo audio, are supported at an HDMI data rate of up to 18 Gbit/s. In network operation, distances of up to 120 meters are achieved over CAT6 cables, and even up to 200 meters with a direct connection between transmitter and receiver. The transmission typically uses only 200 to 500 Mbit/s per 4K stream, making the HX530 ideal for situations where traditional HDMI cables reach their limits. Whether it's a home cinema with a technical room, a TV on another floor, or professional AV installations with many displays – the HX530 reliably delivers picture and sound exactly where they are needed.
The HX530 HDMI over IP system grows with your requirements. A single transmitter and receiver already create a simple point-to-point connection. By adding further HX530TX Transmitters or HX530RX Receivers, installations with up to 253 devices can be built within a network. Depending on your needs, one-to-one, one-to-many, many-to-one, or complete many-to-many applications can be created and flexibly expanded at any time.
HX530TX Transmitters and HX530RX Receivers are also available individually and can be added at any time. This allows the system to grow flexibly with the demands of your installation.
Even one HX530TX Transmitter and one HX530RX Receiver form a powerful HDMI-over-IP extender. Both devices can be connected directly via a network cable, reaching up to 200 meters with CAT6 cable. Alternatively, the connection can be made via a Gigabit network switch with up to 120 meters of cable length between the devices. This allows media players, AV receivers, or PCs to be operated in a technical room, for example, while televisions or projectors are installed on another floor or in another room. This allows technology and cabling to be completely moved out of sight, while only an inconspicuous network cable is needed at the display.
By adding HX530RX Receivers, a single HDMI signal can be output simultaneously to any number of displays. All connected displays show the image synchronously and without manual switching. This is ideal for digital signage, reception areas, sports bars, trade fairs, or training rooms where information or presentations need to be displayed simultaneously on multiple screens.
If multiple HX530TX Transmitters are used, different HDMI sources can be used on a single display. Selection is conveniently done via the iMMS smartphone app, where the desired transmitter can be easily assigned to the receiver. This allows you to switch, for example, between several presentation PCs in a meeting room or between different media players and sources without having to re-plug cables.
With multiple HX530TX Transmitters and HX530RX Receivers, a freely configurable HDMI-over-IP matrix is created. Each source can be assigned to one or more displays. Assignment is done conveniently via drag & drop in the iMMS smartphone app and can be changed at any time without having to adjust the cabling. This makes the HX530 ideal for businesses, schools, hotels, control rooms, exhibition installations, or digital signage networks with many displays and changing content.
The HX530 uses the existing network infrastructure for HDMI transmission. Instead of laying long HDMI cables, existing CAT network cables and Gigabit networks are used. This saves installation effort and enables flexible signal distribution even across multiple rooms or floors. For smaller one-to-one installations, the transmitter and receiver can also be connected directly via network cable.
The HX530 supports the transmission of infrared signals. This allows you to control an HDMI source with the original remote control even if it is in another room or a technical cabinet. This means media players, satellite receivers, or other source devices remain comfortably operable, even if they are not installed directly at the display. Easy installation and convenient management
Installation is plug & play. Transmitter and receiver are simply connected to the source and display via HDMI, and to the network via CAT5e or CAT6 cable. For installations with multiple devices, management is conveniently done via the "iMMS" smartphone app. Sources and displays can be flexibly connected via drag & drop and reassigned at any time if required.
For reliable signal transmission, we recommend HDMI cables up to 5 meters long and network cables from CAT5e, ideally CAT6 or higher. For installations with multiple devices, distribution is done via a standard Gigabit switch. If this switch supports IGMP Snooping, multicast data streams are optimally managed and network load is reduced.
For control via the iMMS smartphone app, the router, smartphone, and all HX530 Transmitters and Receivers must be in the same IP address range. This allows all devices to be automatically detected and conveniently managed.
