The SW211 is a bi-directional HDMI splitter and is equipped with an integrated HDMI cable. Either connect two sources such as a PlayStation 5 and an Xbox Series X to one display (2 In 1 Out) or connect two displays to one HDMI source (1 In 2 Out). Note that when connecting to two displays, only one display can display the image.

This HDMI switch supports all HDMI 2.1 functions such as 4K 120Hz, VRR, ALLM, QFT and 8K 60Hz. Data rates of up to 48 Gbps are possible.

The SW211 HDMI 2.1 Switch is powered by the HDMI player such as the PlayStation 5 and does not require an additional power supply. Switching between ports 1 and 2 is done using a button. An LED display shows the selected port: lights up blue for port 1 or green for port 2. You can mark your HDMI cables with the included color stickers.

The SW211 is a bi-directional HDMI switch for alternate operation of 2 players on one display or 2 displays on one HDMI source. Switching between port 1 and 2 is done with a button. the power supply through an HDMI player. Simultaneous output to 2 displays is not possible. Only the selected display receives the HDMI signal. An LED display shows the selected connection: lights up blue for connection 1 or green for connection 2. You can identify your HDMI cables with the enclosed colored stickers.

Notes:

Please note that HDMI-ARC or HDMI-eARC (the audio return channel from the TV to the sound system) are not supported.
Because there is no additional power supply, no active / fiber HDMI cable can be used.
When operating on 2 displays, some players may require a restart after switching, especially if the properties of the displays are very different (e.g. full HD and 4k).

SW211 HDMI 2.1 Switch 2x1 bi-direktional mit Kabel

Habe mir diese Gerät gekauft, da ich an meinem SMART TV nur noch einen HDMI Anschluss zur Verfügung hatte. Den HDMI Anschlussstecker habe ich an den freien HDMI Anschluss am TV angebracht. Die beiden HDMI Ausgänge sind mit dem Monitor vom Rechner und meinem DVD Player verbunden, über jeweils ein HDMI Kabel ( 1,5 m und 3 m ). Am Switch leuchtet dann ein blaues oder grünes Licht und zeigt von welchem Gerät das Signal auf dem SMART TV erscheint. Man muss natürlich eine manuelle Umschaltung am Switch vornehmen. Dazu drücke ich auf diesen blau oder grün leuchtenden Knopf und merke mir das beispielsweise bei grünem Licht der DVD Player seinen Film auf dem TV präsentiert und bei blauem Licht die Bilder vom Rechnermonitor auf dem TV Bildschirm erscheinen. Diese Konstellation funktioniert tadellos. Man kann sich auch das entsprechende Kabel mit dem zugehörigen farbigen Klebeband markieren. Dieser HDMI Switch ist abstrichlos zu empfehlen.

Bin sehr zufrieden mit meiner Bestellung . Geräte anschließen und schon kann es losgehen. Die Markierungsbänder könnte man sich sparen , man kann sich doch bestimmt merken welches Gerät welche Farbe hat .
Ich habe schon den anderen Switch gehabt , der automatisch umschaltet , aber der geht nur mit Strom !

Bei der VSW12100 Version gibt es zusätzlich einen USB-Anschluss für die Stromversorgung, was bestimmte Probleme behebt. Diese Version hat das nicht, könnte das problematisch sein?

Prinzipbedingt kann ein bi-direktional einsetzbarer Schalter wie der SW211 nicht extern mit Strom versorgt werden, denn es gibt ja keine festgelegte Signalrichtung. Der SW210 und SW211 sind daher nur für kurze Kabellängen geeignet. Für einen stabilen Betrieb mit langen HDMI-Kabeln empfehlen wir daher einen HDMI-Switch mit Netzteil(-Option), z.B. VSW12100 für 2 Zuspieler an einem Display. Oder einen HDMI-Splitter wie SP210 für einen Zuspieler an 2 Displays.

Meine erste Frage ist, wo ihr das produkt hergestellt wird. In Deutschland?

Meine zweite Frage bezieht sich auf die anwendung/Kompatibilität. Ich habe einen alten Flachbildfernseher mit zu wenigen HDMI Anschlüssen. Ich möchte mit dem "FeinTech SW211" einen Fire TV Stick und einen Mediaplayer (an dem eine Festplatte mit Filmen angeschlossen ist) über einen HDMI Anschluss an meinen TV anschließen.

Funktioniert das?

Der SW211 wird in China produziert. Es lassen sich damit 2 Zuspieler an einem Fernseher betreiben. Es wird dazu per Knopfdruck umgeschaltet,

Ich möchte das Gerät nutzen um einen Mac Mini und ein Microsoft Surface an einen ca. 5 Jahre alten Philips 4K Monitor anzuschließen.
Könnte das funktionieren.
Falls nicht würde ich das Gerät zurückschicken.

Ja, das könnte funktionieren. Nicht alle Microsoft Surface haben einen HDMI-Anschluss, eventuell ist ein Adapterkabel oder USB-C-Hub nötig.

Ich möchte neben den Reciever (HDMI) auch einen DVD-Player an das Fernsehgerät mit HDMI-Kabel anschließen. Am Fernseher jedoch nur 1 HDMI-Steckplatz, geht das?

Das ist prinzipiell möglich. Es ist aber unkomfortabel und es kann nötig sein, Apple TV oder PS5 nach dem Wechsel des Displays neu starten zu müssen. Besser ginge es mit dem VMS02201 (bis 4K 60Hz) oder dem VMS14201 (bis 4K 120Hz).
