Using a hearing aid and soundbar simultaneously – here's how it works
Do you want to use a transmitter for your hearing aid while others listen through the soundbar at the same time? The VMA00201 can then be used between the television...
Transmit high-resolution HDMI 2.1 signals, including eARC and CEC, stably and reliably over long distances.
ProAqtive HDMI Fiber Optic Hybrid Cable 48 Gbps for 8K 60Hz and 4K 240Hz with HDMI 2.1 Support, eARC, and CEC - 5 m is backordered and will ship as soon as it is back in stock.
The ProAqtive HDMI fiber optic hybrid cable enables stable and loss-free transmission of HDMI 2.1 signals over long distances. With support for up to 8K 60Hz and 4K 240Hz (DSC), as well as modern features such as VRR, ALLM, and eARC, it is ideal for demanding home cinema, gaming, and AV setups. Thanks to hybrid technology, video and audio data are transmitted optically, while control and return channel signals reliably run over integrated copper wires. The flexible cable, only 4.8 mm thin, is easy to install and usually requires no separate power supply.
The ProAqtive HDMI cable supports the full HDMI 2.1 bandwidth of up to 48 Gbps and enables the transmission of high-resolution content such as 8K at 60 Hz or 4K at up to 240 Hz. Modern features such as VRR, ALLM, as well as G-Sync and FreeSync ensure smooth image display without tearing and minimal delay. Current HDR formats such as HDR10+, Dolby Vision, and HLG are also fully supported.
Through the combination of fiber optics and high-quality copper conductors, the hybrid cable transmits even data-intensive signals stably and without quality loss over longer distances. Compared to classic copper cables, the signal quality remains constant, without attenuation or interference. The latency remains minimal and is also suitable for demanding gaming and AV applications.
The ProAqtive HDMI cable reliably supports eARC and HDMI-CEC even over longer distances of up to 20 meters. This allows you to route audio directly from your TV or projector back to your sound system, without additional audio cables. Even demanding multi-channel formats such as Dolby Atmos, Dolby TrueHD, or PCM 7.1 are transmitted loss-free. This ensures that your home cinema setup remains fully usable, even if the source device, display, and sound system are installed far apart. At the same time, HDMI-CEC allows convenient control of multiple devices with one remote control.
The cable is compatible with current devices such as PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, gaming PCs, televisions, projectors, as well as AV receivers and soundbars. In addition to video formats, high-quality audio formats such as Dolby TrueHD, Dolby Atmos, and DTS-HD are also supported. This makes the ProAqtive HDMI fiber optic cable ideal for setups where image and sound quality and reliability are crucial.
Video and audio data are transmitted via fiber optics, while control functions as well as ARC and eARC run over integrated copper wires. This maintains full HDMI functionality, while simultaneously utilizing the advantages of fiber optic technology for long distances.
When you invest in high-quality devices such as televisions, projectors, AV receivers, or soundbars, you expect uncompromising quality in the connection as well. This is exactly what the ProAqtive was developed for.
Many conventional HDMI cables reach their limits with high data rates or longer distances – typical consequences are signal instability, image dropouts, or limitations in audio and control functions.
The ProAqtive has been specifically optimized in key areas:
This provides you with an HDMI cable that works reliably even in demanding installations.
With an outer diameter of only 4.8 mm, the cable is particularly flexible and easy to install even in complex installations. The small bending radius facilitates installation in cable ducts, behind furniture, or through conduits. The robust construction simultaneously ensures a long lifespan.
The ProAqtive HDMI cable contains active electronics for signal processing and therefore requires a power supply. In most cases, this is supplied directly via the HDMI source, so no separate power adapter is required.
If the connected source device does not provide enough power via the HDMI socket, power can simply be supplied via an additional adapter, such as the FeinTech HA110 HDMI 2.1 Power Injector USB-A 5V.
For use, the correct connection direction of the cable must also be observed.
The ProAqtive HDMI cable is directional. The connector marked "Source" is connected to the signal source such as a console, PC, or Blu-ray player. The "Display" connector is connected to the television, monitor, or projector. Signal transmission only works reliably with the correct connection.
