Automatic switching
Intended use.
- Enables the connection of 2 HDMI sources such as PC, PS5 or Xbox Series X game console to one HDMI sink, e.g. to a TV set
- Input switching via button or automatically
- Power supply via USB (or through HDMI source)
How it works:
This switcher lets you to use 2 players on one TV or monitor. This allows you to use 2 game consoles such as PS5 and Xbox Series X alternately without loss if your display only has one free HDMI socket. All new gaming features such as 4K 120Hz and VRR are supported!
Switching function
You can press the button to switch between the two inputs. Automatic switching between the HDMI inputs is also possible. The VSW12100 then switches to the last activated player. This function is not supported by all HDMI players like Apple TV or Shield TV which do not switch off completely. Fully automatic switching is not possible with such players. When an Apple TV is connected, the VSW12100 switches to this HDMI input the first time the Apple TV is started. When a second player is switched on, it switches to this one. If you want to switch back to the Apple TV, you must press the button.
Power supply
A USB power source is required for the power supply. In some device constellations, this can be dispensed with. If the transmission is unstable, connect a USB cable.

Please note: The HDMI ARC port of a soundbar is an HDMI output and cannot be used with an HDMI source. This switch cannot be connected directly to a soundbar that has only one HDMI port.
