Distributes an HDMI signal to many TVs in a cable network
VHQ00101 HDMI modulator DVB-C DVB-T 1080p encoder MPEG4 is backordered and will ship as soon as it is back in stock.
This device is used to feed audio-video signals into a coaxial cable network. To do this, you connect it to an HDMI output e.g. from a camera, streaming box, decoder, PC or satellite receiver. The VHQ00101 generates a DVB-C or DVB-T television channel from this signal, which most modern televisions can receive like a TV programme. And all this in Full HD picture quality and with digital sound! You can use the same cable for distribution that is also used to distribute satellite signals, DVB-T or cable television. The output channel and programme name can be freely selected.
This allows you to make signals from surveillance cameras, media players or computers available over long distances and for an unlimited number of televisions. The HDMI signal is HF-modulated by the VHQ00101 and can be adjusted in detail. You can choose whether the output is in DVB-C and DVB-T at 1080i or 1080p. MPEG1 Layer II or AC3 stereo can be selected as the audio format. Professional settings for NIDs, SIDs, PIDs, etc. can also be made. A signal input is available for feeding into the cable network. This allows you to operate additional VHQ00101 units if required, thereby feeding in multiple channels. After a search on the television or receiver, you will receive the additional ‘tv channel’.
Many settings can also be configured via the web interface. To do this, connect the VHQ00101 to the LAN port of a computer using an Ethernet patch cable. The NMS (Network Management System) can then be accessed by entering the IP address in the web browser (default setting 192.168.0.168).
