1x VMR00100 HDMI Repeater 1x User Manual

  • Amplifies HDMI audio/video signals up to 18 Gbps bandwidth (HDMI 2.0b)
  • Allows longer HDMI cable runs, range: 15m at 4K 60Hz Dolby Vision, 25m at 4K@60Hz, 30m at 4K@30Hz, 50m at 1080p
  • Also supports 4Kx2K@60Hz YUV 4:4:4 or UHD with HDR
  • Powered by the HDMI source, no power supply required
  • Compatible with HDCP 2.2 and 1.4 copy protection, pass-through for HDMI CEC control

This repeater amplifies HDMI signals, enabling long cable runs. The signal amplification takes place up to the highest data rate of 18 GBit/s (HDMI 2.0b specification). This means that even at a resolution of 4K at 60 Hz and the highest colour space YUV 4:4:4, a range of up to 25 m can be achieved. At lower data rates, the maximum range increases to 30 m (at 4K@60Hz) or even 50 m at 1080p.

All common SD/HD/4K image resolutions are supported, e.g. 480i/576i/480P/576P/720P/1080i/1080P/2160P and 3D video. The same applies to audio: DTS-HD/true-HD/LPCM7. 1/AC3/DTS/DSD. HDMI CEC control signals are passed through. The repeater is also compatible with HDCP 2.2 and 1.4 copy protection. Power consumption is less than 1 W in operation, so power can be supplied via the HDMI cable. The signal source powers the repeater and no power supply is required. This signal repeater is used for presentations, training and home cinema. Please ensure that the HDMI cable is of good quality. For greatest range, use high-speed cables with AWG24 copper conductors and choose a setup with the following maximum lengths:

at 4k@60Hz:

source > 15 m > repeater > 10 m > TV

at 1080p:

source > 25 m > repeater > 25 m > TV

Please do not operate several repeaters in series and do not combine them with an active HDMI cable. The signal quality will otherwise drop.

Works well

My signal chain is a GTX 1080 - 5m HDMI - Repeater - 10m HDMI - Samsung UE75MU70094k60 with HDR works well and without problems. For some time now, however, I have had a black picture every 2-4 hours for a second. But it doesn't have to be the repeater, since the problem only arose after I set up my computer again and the cables were laid quite tightly around corners.

Solution to all picture & sound problems!

Hello everyone, from the projector to the Sky receiver and to the PS3, two 10m HDMI cables from deleyCON are connected and two amplifiers from the same company, which actually do their job quite well! the picture signal was completely gone. But for weeks I had no interference at all! Well, with this amplifier I think I solved the problem ;-) Crazy, but I also think that the picture is a bit sharper than before! That will of course be viewed very subjectively. For a shot of €30.00, it really is an absolute buy recommendation!!!!!!!!!!!!!

High quality repeater

For me it's about bridging a 10m distance for the UHD image signal with HDR 10+ or Dolby Vision from the AV receiver to the projector. The audio signal no longer has to go through. Strangely enough, Dolby Atmos content kept dropping out. After some back and forth testing of HDMI cables, I could only determine that even supposedly good and then very expensive cables brought improvements but still picture dropouts. With the repeater here now everything works perfectly. I now have a 1.5 m repeater - 10 m. Super.

Does what he should

I had ordered a 15m HDMI cable. Unfortunately, it turned out that this route was probably too long. In UHD resolution from my PC to the TV, a maximum of 30Hz with a color scan of 4:2:0 was possible with 8 bits. Everything about it brought no picture. I then searched forever for an HDMI extender that also delivers 60Hz and higher color scanning and also higher bit numbers. Was skeptical at first as this one had no reviews. But it was the only one that according to the data sheet met my expectations. I wasn't disappointed, now I can use all the settings supported by the TV (4:4:4 sampling at 8 bit and 4:2:2 at 10 and 12 bit at 50/60 Hz) and there is a picture
