High-resolution transmission over long distances

The HX240 HDMI 2.1 extender enables the transmission of HDMI signals up to 4K 120Hz HDR over a distance of 30 m using a conventional network cable. Such a cable is often already available or can be installed easily and inexpensively. The transmission takes place without any time delay (latency-free) and without visible loss of quality.

Maximum video resolution and range

This HDMI extender supports a maximum video resolution of 4K 120Hz (Ultra-HD 3840×2160 pixels) in color mode RGB or YUV4:4:4 with SDR as well as HDR10 with YUV4:2:2. When using a high-quality CAT6 cable, the range is 30 m at maximum resolution. At lower resolutions, transmission can take place over even greater distances. For example, up to 50 m is possible at 4K 60Hz.

Infrared transmitter and receiver for convenient control

The infrared transmitters and receivers enable remote control of players and displays:

• Remote control of the player: Connect the infrared transmitter to the transmitter and the infrared receiver to the receiver to control the player from the screen.

• Remote control of the display: Connect the infrared transmitter to the receiver and the infrared receiver to the transmitter to control the screen from the player.

Easy installation and operation

The HX240 HDMI 2.1 extender is easy to install and does not require any special drivers. The plug-and-play function enables quick and uncomplicated setup. The infrared set supplied makes it easy to control the connected devices remotely.
