CX300 USB-C Docking Station 12 in 1 Triple Display
With this USB 3.1 Type-C™ hub you can connect up to 3 screens to your computer and numerous peripheral devices. At the same time, power supply via USB-C PD 3.0 with up to 100W is possible. So you can work on your computer and charge it at the same time. Charging - all you need is a single USB-C™ port. The port on your computer must support USB-C Alternate Mode (Alt Mode, more info below). The docking station is compatible with Windows, MacOS and Android/Chromebook and does not require driver installation. Please note that different operating systems handle multiple monitors differently.
Support for multiple displays
Three displays can be shown under Windows . So if you connect a laptop to three external monitors via the docking station, the fourth display on the laptop switches off. You can set whether the display should be mirrored. Or use an extended desktop so that all three monitors show a different area.
Under MacOS, all external monitors show the same image. So with a MacBook you either have an extended desktop with two views - the internal display and the external monitors. Or the view is mirrored and the same thing is shown on all displays.
High-resolution video output up to 4K 60Hz
With the docking station you can use the video functions integrated in your laptop to transfer Ultra HD videos to a 4K display. The docking station is also backwards compatible with 1080p displays. Please note that other video resolutions are not supported and therefore only 16:9 screens can be used effectively.
Comprehensive connection options
The docking station offers two USB 3.0 ports, one USB-C port (data only), one USB 2.0 port, a 3.5 mm stereo audio output, as well as Gigabit Ethernet, SD and TF card slots. All connections are plug and play, no additional software installation is necessary.
Powerful power supply
With a power supply capacity of up to 100W according to the PD 3.0 standard, the docking station allows you to work and charge your laptop at the same time. The Gigabit Ethernet port supports 10/100/1000Mbps for fast Internet connections.
Compatibility and design
The docking station is compatible with Thunderbolt™ 3 and DP1.4 Alt Mode. It has a compact design made of high-quality aluminum alloy and ABS, making it ideal for use in the home office and on the go. The dimensions are 284x80x16 mm and it weighs 250g.

How do I know if my computer supports USB-C Alternate Mode?
The prerequisite for video output via this hub is that the computer supports USB-C Alternate Mode, also called DisplayPort Alt Mode and is compatible with Thunderbolt 3. Many Windows computers that support Alt Mode have a small logo with a D (stands for DisplayPort) next to one of the USB-C ports. A lightning symbol next to the USB-C port can indicate Thunderbolt, which also supports the mode. If in doubt, check the computer manufacturer's website or DisplayPort or Thunderbolt .
MacBooks have supported the mode since 2019 and have no marking on the USB-C port. Newer generation Macs, including the iMac Pro, iMac 2017, Mac Mini 2018, MacBook Air 2018, and all MacBook Pros released from 2016 onwards, also support USB-C Thunderbolt 3 ports.
